The Neptune Transmitter uses a reed switch to digitize a Neptune or Schlumberger meter’s magnetic drive signal. The pulse output is available for input into data logging, SCADA, telemetry, and other utility and energy management systems. The transmitter mounts between the meter maincase and the register. The bayonet-type mount allows the transmitter to be easily installed on all current and most previous Neptune and Schlumberger meters (5/8″ to 20″). A tamperproof seal prevents unauthorized access. The Neptune transmitter is suitable for both permanent and portable applications.
No power is required. An oil filled version is available for submersed locations. Pulse factors for specific meters are available on request.
